Color/Appearance: Heartwood is a light brown or cream color with dark blackish brown streaks vaguely resembling a zebra’s stripes. Depending
on whether the wood is flatsawn or quartersawn, the stripes can be either chaotic/wavy (flatsawn) or somewhat uniform (quartersawn).
